Breaking news: The death of God

God had died in that season; the spirit no longer flowed through the people's bank statements and 401(k) accounts and, lo, the desolation of abomination was upon them, and they were mightily afraid. Confusion gripped the faithful, and consolation they could not find.

Woe enveloped them, and verily they awaited the solace of death.

I don't really understand the references to God in the last two articles, but nevertheless.....

One thing I have to say for Jim Cramer is that he very acurately projected the Dow levels. Back when the Dow was still 11,000 + and falling, he projected it would level off around 8200. It was almost Nostradamus (sp?) -esque. Maybe he was partly to blame for the free-fall due to his doom-and-gloom rants.

If what you are implying is that money is our God today, then I guess I understand where you're coming from.

Maybe then, this is the modern-day equivalent to Sodom and Gomorrah. But I thought that was Hurricane Katrina!
