I can't believe I'm doing this on The Big Show, a.k.a., the Revolution 21 podcast. I did it before, but that was at WBRH in Baton Rouge. I was in high school and didn't know better.

And I didn't care.

THE LAST TIME I went this far out on the avant-garde limb probably was 1978, because the B-52's "Dance This Mess Around" doesn't count. Not that that's weird or anything.

Whatever. This might be the end of the podcast . . . or not. But sometimes you just get a wild hair, and there you go.

If this dooms everything, at least I'll have gone out with a bang. Or a thwang, as the case may be.

And I'll be a vicarious guitar hero.
